I found your website after poking around on my sitemeter report. Thanks for the link, I will have to add yours to my site. I just browsed a few pages of your site, but will spend some time on here in the next few days. It looks like we have a lot in common, such as our love of sushi, organic produce, local restaurants, horrocks and kwame...or maybe not so much on that last one! I am reading the Omnivore's Dilemma right now too. Have a great day and I am sure I will be commenting more soon! Amy

From my experiences talking with former prisoners, the Wayne County Jail is a far worse experience even in the special unit.
If he went to prison, he'd still be in an isolated area and he'd have more privacy. As for the nonsense jail time in California, overcrowding notwithstanding, no one gets that much good time credit in Michigan.

1-I was so hoping for prison , not jail. He could be in and out in 24 hours if treated the same way as the "faux stars" are in Hollywood. I want him to squirm in prison. Jail, he will be secluded and treated special. Nope, not good enough for me.

2.Five years and back on the prowl? I remember Woodrow Stanley-the Woodman. OUsted as mayor of Flint. Back a few years later strutting his stuff. Gets elected to be a country commissioner (his job before mayor was as a delegate to DNC) now he wants the whole county to corrupt with his cronies. He is the actual Chairperson of the board of commissioners?

3-Stanley is replaced by more corruption. So what will happen with Detroit? Unless an actual honorable person gets the jog (is the city capable of electing someone like that-Dave Bing perhaps). Flint has a moron who actually got reelected and now wants to be governor of Michigan. Power hungry people who have no idea of what is going on anywhere but the small space inside their heads.
